Corporate Charity Hike Leadership

We guide a number of well-known and bespoke challenges across the UK, for groups from 6 to 100 people. I like to see as much money as possible going to the charity you are supporting, and as such we have a discounted rate for full day hikes, starting at £49+VAT per person for a full-day event such as the Yorkshire Three Peaks.

This includes:

  • Professionally qualified and insured guides for the entire group (with a minimum of 1 guide per 10 people on the route, plus support)

  • For larger groups, a support vehicle checkpoint at one or two stops on the route

  • Pre-event Zoom/Teams briefings for participants,

  • A customised FAQ for the event and access to information guides for participants (e.g. training routes, what to wear, etc)

  • We are also on hand for any questions and consultancy for setting up the event at your end

 We don’t include:

  • Transport for participants to and from the walk start

  • Post-walk meal, drinks and accommodation (though we can provide recommendations)

Our Favourite Challenge Hike Routes

Which challenge should you take on? We are always up for new routes and challenges if you have something new in mind, but if you are looking for some inspiration, here are some of our favourites.

Yorkshire Three Peaks, Yorkshire Dales

A legendary route, and for good reason. This is a long and arduous hike, covering 40km and climbing over 1500m throughout the day. But where this route really shines is in its gorgeous Yorkshire Dales setting and its three distinctive and iconic mountains: Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. The target time for the challenge is 12 hours - I would recommend taking this one on between March and early October, unless you fancy walking in the dark!

Derbyshire Three Peaks, Peak District

A stone’s throw from Manchester, this challenge walk tackles three of the highest points in the Peak District. With 833m of ascent throughout the day, and covering over 30km, this challenge tests you to the limit on the wild and arduous terrain of Kinder Scout, Higher Shelf Stones and Bleaklow, but offers incredible views and hidden history buried in the desolate moors.

Wharfedale Three Peaks, Yorkshire Dales

A quieter alternative to the traditional Yorkshire Three Peaks, this route circles the absolutely stunning and verdant Upper Wharfedale. With almost 30km to cover in the day, and climbing 1205m, you’ll visit the lesser-known, yet still-towering and spectacular summits of Birks Fell, Great Whernside and Buckden Pike. The sometimes-pathless and occasionally arduous terrain is more than made up for with the stunning views of the ‘other’ Yorkshire Three Peaks, and all the way to the North Yorks Moors and Lake District fells on a clear day.

Howgills 10 Peaks Challenge, Yorkshire Dales

Nestled between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District, this route through the undulating Howgills offers an incredibly challenging day out. Covering 35km and climbing 1800m over the course of 14 hours, you’ll take on several seldom-visited summits throughout a day that will test your endurance to the limit.

A man wearing black shorts and t-shirt, walking across the ridge of Striding Edge on the approach to Helvellyn on a cloudy, but clear day

Helvellyn Ridge Challenge, Lake District

An epic route in the Lake District, this challenge walk takes on the ridges of Striding Edge and Swirral Edge as we ascend Helvellyn, the third-highest mountain in England, standing at 950m above sea level. 14km long, and climbing over 1000m over the course of 8 hours, this Grade 1 scramble will test your nerve as you climb over exposed, rocky sections.

Snowdon Horseshoe Challenge, Snowdonia

An extreme route to the summit of the highest mountain in Wales, via the notoriously exposed Grade 1 scramble of Crib Goch. This is one of the most challenging mountain hikes in the UK that can be completed without venturing into bona-fide rock climbing territory.

This airy mountain ridge will get the adrenaline pumping, test your limits and leave you feeling on top of the world, ready to take on absolutely anything.

Head for heights is required!

Snowdon Sunrise Challenge, Snowdonia

Climb the highest mountain in Wales to arrive at the summit at sunrise. starting in the dark in Llanberis, this route will both challenge and reward you.

Ben Nevis Ridge Challenge, Scottish Highlands

Asend the highest mountain in the UK via one of its most spectacular walking trails. This route first climbs the neighbouring munro summit of Carn Mor Derag, before crossing the rocky and exposed Grade 1 Carn Mor Derag Arete to Ben Nevis for an airy and spectacular challenge day out.

Ben Nevis Sunrise Challenge, Scottish Highlands

Starting in the dark in the early hours of the morning, climb the highest mountain in the UK to witness the sun rise at the start of another day.

Scafell Pike 7 Peaks Challenge, Lake District

Take on one of our absolute favourite routes - this epic walk starts in the beautiful remote valley of Great Langdale, and climbs to the highest point in England.

Spending much of the day above 700m, this challenge still involves over 1400m ascent, over 20km, as you aim to complete all seven peaks within 8 hours.

Ambleside Horseshoe Challenge, Lake District

This mighty mountain route in the Lake District climbs EIGHT Wainwright peaks in a day, climbing over 1000m over a distance of 17km, within 7 hours.

Ring of Steall, Scottish Highlands

A huge day out in Glen Nevis in the Scottish Highlands, this route has jaw-dropping scenery, rocky scrambling and four munros, over the course of 15km and a whopping climb of 1750m.
